Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer with strong expertise in Java, Microservices Architecture, API Development, and AWS Cloud Technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs and cloud-native applications. Experience with TM Forum Open APIs, modern Java frameworks, and DevOps practices is essential.Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and Microservices using Java 21.
  • Develop and enhance APIs in alignment with TM Forum Open API standards.
  • Build, deploy, and support cloud-native applications on AWS.
  • Design scalable, secure, resilient, and high-performing backend solutions.
  • Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver business requirements.
  • Implement API security, authentication, authorization, and performance optimization best practices.
  • Develop containerized applications using Docker and deploy them in cloud environments.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
  • Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure operational excellence using Splunk and other monitoring tools.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and mentoring junior developers.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and software development best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience in Java 21 development.
  • Extensive experience with Spring Boot and/or Micronaut frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of Microservices Architecture and distributed systems.
  • Proven experience in developing REST APIs and integrating with TM Forum Open APIs.
  • Strong expertise in AWS Cloud Services, including:
    • ECS Fargate
    • Lambda
    • API Gateway
    • S3
    • CloudFront
    • DynamoDB
  • Experience with APIGEE API Management.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker containerization.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with application monitoring and log analysis using Splunk.
  • Knowledge of software design patterns, secure coding practices, and performance tuning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Telecommunications, Digital Platforms, or Enterprise API Ecosystems.
  • Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWT, OpenID Connect, and API Security standards.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
  • AWS Certifications are highly desirable.
  • Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.

Experience Required

  • 8+ years of software development experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java-based Microservices and Cloud-native application development.
