About the Role:
As a Graphic Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping our digital presence and driving marketing initiatives. Your responsibilities will involve translating conceptual ideas into visually compelling designs that resonate with our target audience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborative Design: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and create visually appealing graphics, illustrations, and layouts while adhering to brand guidelines.
- Asset Optimization: Develop and optimize graphics and images for online platforms, ensuring alignment with brand standards and compatibility with web and mobile interfaces.
- Print Design: Create and update print materials regularly, with a focus on wholesale requirements, including catalogs, brochures, packaging, and other promotional materials.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with product management, UX/UI designers, and developers to align designs with strategic objectives. Communicate design concepts effectively and manage project timelines.
- Creative Innovation: Introduce innovative design concepts and ideas into digital experiences, incorporating user feedback, design trends, and business goals.
- Organizational Efficiency: Maintain an organized repository of design files with version control practices for easy access and retrieval of assets.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and techniques to enhance digital product creativity and effectiveness.
- Active Participation: Engage in team discussions, design reviews, and brainstorming sessions to contribute valuable insights and improve design processes.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on e-commerce and digital marketing projects. Proven track record of delivering high-quality designs that meet business objectives.
- Software Proficiency: Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is essential. Proficiency in Figma for collaborative design and prototyping is required.
- Design Expertise: Strong conceptualization, visual communication, and attention to detail. Solid understanding of color theory, typography, layout, and composition principles.
- Portfolio Quality: Showcase a portfolio demonstrating creativity, technical skills, and understanding of design principles, especially for digital platforms.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience with a strong portfolio showcasing design skills will be considered.
- Time Management: Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines consistently.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, adapt to evolving design requirements, and maintain high-quality outputs.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate design concepts and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Notion for project management, task organization, collaboration, and documentation.
- Proficiency in Slack for effective communication, collaboration, and team coordination, including channel management, file sharing, and real-time messaging.
- Proficiency in GSuite for productivity, document management, and collaboration, including Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
- Familiarity with Loom for creating and sharing video content, including screen recordings, tutorials, and presentations, to enhance communication and training within teams.
- Expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for graphic design, illustration, and layout creation.
- Proficiency in Figma for collaborative design, prototyping, and UI/UX design processes.
- Experience in creating and preparing print materials such as catalogs, brochures, and packaging, ensuring print-ready files.
- Understanding of web design principles and ability to optimize graphics and images for web and mobile interfaces.
- Familiarity with tools and platforms used in digital marketing, ensuring designs are optimized for online campaigns.
- Strong knowledge of typography principles, layout design, and composition to create visually appealing designs.
- Proficiency in color theory and color management to maintain consistency and effectiveness in design projects.
- Experience with version control systems or practices to manage and organize design files efficiently.
