Financial Accountant

Job Description

Your new role

-Monthly financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
-Managing statutory compliance including BAS, payroll tax and other lodgements
-End-to-end payroll oversight, including STP, PAYG and superannuation
-Cash flow management and treasury support
-Accounts payable and receivable oversight
-Maintaining accurate general ledger records
-Supporting entity administration and corporate governance requirements
-Liaising with external auditors, tax advisers and other stakeholders
-Assisting with investment accounting and reporting activities
-Contributing to process improvement initiatives and ad hoc finance projects

What you’ll need to succeed

-CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion
-3+ years’ experience within a Family Office or Financial Services organisation
-Strong financial accounting and compliance experience
-Excellent attention to detail and stakeholder management skills
-Advanced Excel capability
-A proactive, hands-on approach and strong sense of ownership
