Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for IT hardware, software, licenses, cloud services, and maintenance contracts.
  • Source, evaluate, negotiate with, and onboard IT vendors and service providers to support business requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to understand technical needs, demand forecasts, and upcoming procurement requirements.
  • Coordinate purchase orders, vendor communications, deliveries, renewals, and asset lifecycle activities.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor information, and purchasing data through tracking tools and management systems.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, cost optimization, and value improvement initiatives within IT procurement activities.
  • Register and maintain newly acquired IT assets, including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, switches, routers, and UPS equipment.
  • Follow up with vendors to ensure timely deliveries and resolve procurement-related issues.
  • Identify cost-effective purchasing opportunities while maintaining quality, compliance, and service expectations.
  • Prepare reports, analyze procurement data, and support decision-making through accurate information management.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure smooth procurement operations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is an organized and analytical procurement professional with experience in IT sourcing, vendor management, and technology-related purchasing processes.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
  • 3-4 years of experience in IT procurement, IT hardware management, sourcing, or related operational roles.
  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience managing IT hardware procurement activities.
  • Experience managing global procurement processes and working with external vendors.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience handling structured data, pricing models, cost analysis, or procurement reports.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and ability to quickly learn business-specific tools and systems.
  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy and validation.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with global internal teams and external partners.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex information and make practical decisions.
  • Ability to manage high-volume workloads while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience using IT, data management, or business intelligence tools.
  • Knowledge of SQL and advanced data analysis techniques is considered an advantage.
  • Experience in logistics, maritime services, or operational environments is a plus.
