Responsibilities

Full Set of Accounts

• Handle the complete Full Set of Accounts independently.
• Maintain accurate accounting records in accordance with MFRS, IFRS, company policies, and statutory requirements.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, provisions, prepayments, depreciation, and adjusting entries.
• Maintain General Ledger, chart of accounts, and supporting schedules.
• Ensure proper accounting treatment and classification of all financial transactions.

Month-End & Year-End Closing

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Prepare month-end journals and reconciliation schedules.
• Prepare accruals and provisions, including:
  • Payroll Accruals
  • Annual Leave Provisions
  • Bonus Provisions
  • Employee Benefit Liabilities
• Maintain Fixed Asset Register and depreciation schedules.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure all financial records are complete, accurate, and audit-ready.

Accounts Payable (AP)

• Process supplier invoices, payments, reimbursements, and staff claims.
• Prepare payment batches and online bank payments.
• Maintain vendor reconciliations.
• Ensure timely payment to suppliers and service providers.

Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Monitor customer receivables and outstanding balances.
• Reconcile customer accounts.
• Support collection activities where required.
• Maintain accurate customer accounting records.

Loan & Revenue Accounting

• Record loan disbursements, repayments, settlements, and adjustments.
• Reconcile loan portfolios and customer balances.
• Prepare interest accruals and revenue recognition.
• Account for late payment charges, extension fees, and other lending income.
• Ensure lending transactions are accurately reflected in the accounting records
