Digital Designer

Job Description

We’re looking for a Creative Digital Designer to join our small, experienced design team at Mallard & Claret.

You’ll be working across a range of digital projects for well-known clients, collaborating closely with developers and project managers to design thoughtful, well-crafted digital experiences.

What we’re looking for:

1. Strong proficiency designing websites in Figma (essential)
2. Strong attention to detail and a clear design rationale behind your work (essential)
3. Confidence presenting design work to clients, clearly articulating design decisions in an engaging, enthusiastic, and persuasive manner (essential)
4. Experience working within established brand guidelines, with the ability to interpret, apply, and evolve them consistently across digital outputs (essential)
5. Webflow experience (favourable)
6. Previous experience working in a digital agency environment (favourable)
7. A good understanding of agency workflows, roles, and collaboration with developers (favourable)

What you’ll be doing:

1. Designing websites and digital products from concept through to delivery
2. Working closely with developers throughout the build process, ensuring designs are technically feasible, and that the finished website experience aligns with the original design intent
3. Contributing ideas and creative thinking within a small, supportive team
4. Balancing creativity with practical, real-world (or brand) constraints
