DevSecOps Engineer

Job Description

Your new roleAs a DevSecOps Engineer, you’ll design, implement, validate, and support a suite of Software Factory tools that enable secure, efficient software development. Your work will include:

• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and tailor solutions for the Software Factory tool suite.
• Deploying and integrating DevSecOps toolchains aligned with global standards.
• Building and maintaining secure CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues across the engineering tool ecosystem.
• Documenting processes and ensuring compliance with security best practices.
• Working closely with IS/IT teams and engineering stakeholders to drive digital transformation.

You’ll be part of a collaborative team driving innovation and resilience in a mission-critical environment.

What you’ll need to succeed

• NV1 security clearance (mandatory)
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and DevSecOps principles
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Linux (RHEL) and Windows environments
  • Scripting/programming (Python, Bash, Perl)
  • Infrastructure as Code & Configuration Management (Ansible, Terraform)
  • Containerisation (Kubernetes, VMware Tanzu)
  • DevSecOps toolkits such as Artifactory, Jira, Git, SonarQube, Coverity or similar
• Excellent documentation and stakeholder engagement skills

Desirable:

• Agile software development experience
• Cloud networking knowledge
• Cybersecurity awareness (risk assessment, threat modelling, best practices)
