Job Description
Your new roleAs a DevSecOps Engineer, you’ll design, implement, validate, and support a suite of Software Factory tools that enable secure, efficient software development. Your work will include:
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and tailor solutions for the Software Factory tool suite.
- Deploying and integrating DevSecOps toolchains aligned with global standards.
- Building and maintaining secure CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues across the engineering tool ecosystem.
- Documenting processes and ensuring compliance with security best practices.
- Working closely with IS/IT teams and engineering stakeholders to drive digital transformation.
You’ll be part of a collaborative team driving innovation and resilience in a mission-critical environment.
What you’ll need to succeed
- NV1 security clearance (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and DevSecOps principles
- Hands-on experience with:
- Linux (RHEL) and Windows environments
- Scripting/programming (Python, Bash, Perl)
- Infrastructure as Code & Configuration Management (Ansible, Terraform)
- Containerisation (Kubernetes, VMware Tanzu)
- DevSecOps toolkits such as Artifactory, Jira, Git, SonarQube, Coverity or similar
- Excellent documentation and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable:
- Agile software development experience
- Cloud networking knowledge
- Cybersecurity awareness (risk assessment, threat modelling, best practices)
