Developer

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining and supporting software applications, cloud systems and IT solutions for a diverse range of business clients, including real estate, professional services, manufacturing and engineering businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Analysing client business requirements and developing appropriate software and IT solutions.

·         Designing, developing, testing and maintaining software applications, scripts and system integrations.

·         Writing, modifying and reviewing program code to improve system functionality, efficiency and reliability.

·         Supporting cloud-based platforms including Microsoft 365, hosted systems and business applications.

·         Assisting with the deployment, configuration and maintenance of network and server infrastructure.

·         Troubleshooting software, system and network issues and implementing technical solutions.

·         Assisting with database management, backup systems and cybersecurity measures.

·         Supporting ERP and real estate management software platforms and performing system customisation where required.

·         Preparing technical documentation, user procedures and system specifications.

·         Collaborating with internal staff and external clients to ensure efficient delivery of IT projects and ongoing support services.

·         Monitoring system performance and recommending upgrades or improvements to meet business and security requirements.

Requirements:

·         Minimum 3 years of relevant full-time work experience as an IT Programmer or related occupation.

·         Relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.

·         Experience with software development, system support, cloud technologies and database management.

·         Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

·         Excellent communication and client service abilities.

·         Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a technical support environment.
