Design Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Design and develop components such as pneumatic cylinders, valves, and other mechanical systems.
• Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
• Collaborate with production and R&D teams to ensure designs are functional, manufacturable, and cost-effective.
• Analyze design feasibility, perform tolerance stack-up, and ensure alignment with application standards.
• Revise existing designs based on testing, customer feedback, and performance data.
• Document designs and maintain version control for all technical files and drawings.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal departments for prototyping and production support.
  

Salary Range

• ₹18,000 to ₹30,000 per month (based on qualifications, experience, and interview performance).
  

Skills Required

• Proficiency in design software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of GD&T, manufacturing processes, and material selection.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
