Data Analyst/ BI Front End Developer

Your new role 
As a Data Analyst / BI Frontend Developer (ideally 5–7 years’ experience), you will be responsible for designing and delivering high‑quality Power BI dashboards and reports using shared and governed semantic models. This role is highly frontend‑focused, working at the intersection of business requirements, user experience, and analytics.You will collaborate closely with business analysts, architects, and product owners to translate requirements into intuitive, insight‑driven reporting solutions.Key Activities:

• Design and build frontend Power BI dashboards and reports using shared semantic models
• Develop both interactive and paginated (print‑ready) reports
• Work closely with BAs to translate requirements into reporting deliverables
• Validate data outputs with business and product owners (measures, totals, hierarchies)
• Develop layouts, filters, self‑service capabilities, and user‑focused UX
• Undertake data exploration and perform loop‑back discussions with stakeholders
• Support stakeholder engagement and UAT activities

What you’ll need to succeed

• Strong experience in Power BI report design and development, including interactive and paginated reports
• Excellent visual design skills with a focus on usability‑driven dashboards
• Strong business and data analysis skills, with the ability to translate requirements into clear deliverables
• Working knowledge of Power Query and DAX (light use, primarily for measures)
• Consumer‑level understanding of dimensional models from Microsoft Fabric, SQL, and/or Azure Data Lake
• Experience with API development for GraphQL data publishing
• Proven ability to engage stakeholders and support UAT
