Senior Frontend Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join our growing team.

As a Senior Frontend Developer you will:

• Architect, design and develop features and components
• Build modular layouts, reusable code, and shared libraries
• Help set technical standards and best practices for the frontend team
• Monitor and improve frontend performance, ensuring fast load times and smooth interactions
• Write and maintain automated tests and work confidently within a CI/CD pipeline
• Experiment with new tools and frameworks to continuously improve the development process and product quality
• Mentor developers and conduct code reviews to uphold code quality and adherence to best practices
• Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• At least 5+ years of experience developing frontend web applications
• Expert understanding of client-side scripting and JS frameworks such as Angular
• Experience with large-scale modular or micro-frontend architectures (and ideally monorepos)
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services
• A good understanding of SEO principles and web analytics and the ability to build applications that adhere to them
• Excellent communication skills and experience in collaborative environments
• Strong analytical, organisational, and time-management skills
• Comfort working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
