Cyber Security Engineer

Job Description

Your new roleYou will support a large-scale cyber uplift program focused on protecting vital Operational Technology (OT) environments. This role will contribute to the delivery of enhanced cyber controls and a 24/7 security monitoring and response capability across the network. You will provide technical leadership across design and implementation activities, support cyber governance and assurance activities, and contribute to the ongoing maturity of the agency’s cyber capability.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Proven experience working as a Cyber Security Systems Engineer or in a similar role
• Experience administering and supporting cyber security controls in federated or multi‑vendor environments
• Sound knowledge of recognised security frameworks and standards, such as:
• Experience supporting or participating in cyber incident response activities
• Experience using delivery and tracking tools such as Jira and SpiraPlan
