As our Cyber Security & Infrastructure Specialist, you’ll be responsible for supporting and evolving the infrastructure and security platforms that underpin Feros Care’s operations.

Partnering with the Cloud Architect, you’ll oversee the security and performance of cloud, network and server environments while providing expert Level 3 support and driving continuous improvement across our technology landscape.

What you’ll do

• Support the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of secure infrastructure across on premises and cloud environments.
• Manage and enhance cyber security controls, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of organisational systems and data.
• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and infrastructure issues, providing timely resolution and remediation.
• Act as a Level 3 escalation point for complex infrastructure and cyber security issues, supporting our Service Desk and wider IT team.
• Design, deploy, and maintain network, server, cloud, telephony and voice solutions to support business operations.
• Contribute to disaster recovery, business continuity, and infrastructure resilience initiatives to minimise service disruption.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, infrastructure diagrams and security related processes.
• Partner with vendors, stakeholders and internal teams to deliver technology improvements and projects that align with business objectives.

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years’ experience in infrastructure, systems administration or advanced technical support roles.
• Strong knowledge of cyber security principles, technologies and best practices.
• Experience managing enterprise infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud services and security platforms.
• Hands on experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem solving, and incident management capabilities.
• Experience with technologies such as VMware, Fortinet, Cisco, Ubiquiti, Veeam and VoIP solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A customer-focused approach with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Checks

• Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent qualification.
• Bachelor of Information Technology (Computer Science) would be highly regarded.
