Credit & Business Operations Manager

Job Description

Responsibilities

·   Review financing applications using income, affordability, existing commitments, documents and internal credit criteria.

·   Identify red flags in payslips, bank statements, employment records, CCRIS/CTOS and supporting documents.

·   Recommend whether cases should be approved, rejected, queried or escalated.

·   Improve credit policies, approval processes, SOPs, documentation flow and operational controls.

·   Analyse business and operational issues and propose practical solutions.

·   Prepare clear case summaries, reports and management updates.

·   Work with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.

Support company-building initiatives as the business grows.

Requirements

·   Strong logical thinking, common sense and problem-solving ability.

·   Comfortable with numbers, percentages, affordability and risk assessment.

·   Able to spot inconsistencies, risks and unusual patterns.

·   Good judgement and ability to balance business growth with credit discipline.

·   Reliable, responsible and able to handle confidential information.

·   Energetic, adaptable and able to work in a demanding environment.

·   Experience in banking, financing, credit, risk, operations, fintech, insurance, telco or commercial operations is an advantage.

Education background is open. Practical ability, ownership and thinking skills are more important.
