Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Offer art activities such as drawing, painting, card-making, origami or colouring.
Support legacy projects including hand casting, thumb printing and other personalised keepsakes.
Create cards and art packs for patient to use independently.
Assist with small creative projects around the ward (e.g. holders for welcome QR code cards).
Respect patient boundaries and adapt activities to individual needs and preferences.
Provide feedback and updates to the Volunteer Coordinator.

Time Commitment
Activities vary depending on patient interest and energy levels.

Skills & Attributes
Empathy, patience, and sensitivity to the emotional needs of patients.
Good communication and listening skills.
Interest in art or creativity is desirable but not essential.
Flexibility to adapt activities to diverse cultural and personal backgrounds.
