Cloud Engineer

Job Description

The Role

• Design, develop, and test secure, scalable cloud infrastructure solutions aligned with business requirements.

• Build and enhance platforms using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform and Packer.

• Deploy and maintain services including Kubernetes, HashiCorp Vault & Consul, and various database solutions.

• Create and optimize monitoring and alerting systems using Azure Monitor and New Relic.

• Document infrastructure designs and implementations for team and internal client clarity.

• Take ownership of work from architecture through implementation and monitoring, presenting design decisions for alignment and innovation.

What You’ll Need

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

• Proven experience with Azure cloud and Kubernetes.

• Proficiency in at least one scripting language: PowerShell, bash, or Python.

• Experience setting up and managing security, monitoring, and alerting solutions.

• Familiarity with CI/CD practices for application and infrastructure deployment.

• Experience with containerization using Docker.
