Cloud Engineer
Job Description
Summary: This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based solutions within Microsoft Azure environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, automation, security, and DevOps practices, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams. This is a fully remote opportunity; however, candidates must reside and work within the Eastern Time Zone to support team collaboration and business operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, or related roles
- 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Azure environments
- Strong understanding of Azure networking, security, storage, identity, and compute services
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, ARM, or Bicep
- Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD platforms
- Proficiency with PowerShell, Python, or other automation scripting languages
- Experience implementing cloud security best practices and governance controls
- Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
