Job Description

We are looking for someone who will share our longer-term vision of growing the team and creating industry leading work, with cutting edge tech and a focus on high-quality output. If successful, the ideal candidate will develop and heavily influence software solutions across our portfolio of clients, provide strategic recommendations around solution design and cloud infrastructure / configuration.

This is a hands-on leadership role, where you will still be developing high quality software solutions whilst also mentoring the development team to develop based on industry best practices.

Skills & Base Experience:

  • 4+ years commercial development experience across C# & ASP.NET and dotnet core
  • Extensive experience developing web-based applications in ASP.NET MVC and WebAPI
  • Intimate Understanding of Design Patterns and the ability to demonstrate how and when to use them
  • Planning and implementation of dotnet solutions based on a low coupling and high cohesive architecture principles
  • 1+ years experience designing and / or deploying cloud resources and applications
  • Experience with Azure PaaS components including SQL databases, app services and functions or AWS/Google cloud equivalent
  • Experience with Software Development tools such as Azure Devops, Git, Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server
  • Excellent communications skills – both verbal and written
  • Excellent estimation & scoping skills
  • Ability to prioritise and adapt to changing work requirements
  • Ability to work in a close team environment / experience in a digital agency
  • Advanced problem-solving skills

Skills that are highly desirable:

  • Experience with configuring cloud services such as Load Balancers, Application Gateways and Virtual Networks
  • Configuring and deploying ARM templates and / or terraform scripts to provision and configure cloud resources.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms such as Umbraco and Sitecore.
  • Familiarity with front-end tools: jQuery, React, Foundation or Bootstrap, NPM, Gulp, HTML, CSS, SASS, etc.
