Chief Information Officer

Job Description

We are looking for a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to join our team and take ownership of Threod’s IT function and its continued development. In this role, you will lead our IT team and ensure that our IT environment is reliable, secure, scalable, and ready to support the company’s continued growth. You will play a key role in building a more structured, proactive, and future-ready IT organization.

Your key responsibilities:

• Lead the IT team, set clear priorities, goals, responsibilities, and ways of working.
• Develop and implement effective IT processes, ensuring clear ownership, documentation, and traceability.
• Ensure the reliable operation and continuous improvement of IT infrastructure, systems, networks, user accounts, and workplace technology.
• Oversee access management, IT assets, backups, recovery, changes, and incident management.
• Establish cybersecurity principles, identify key IT and security risks, and drive risk mitigation activities together with the Cybersecurity Specialist.
• Plan and develop IT solutions that support business continuity, efficiency, and company growth.
• Keep management informed about IT performance, risks, development needs, and key decisions.
• Build a proactive and accountable IT culture focused on continuous improvement, security, and quality.

What you bring:

• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, information systems, user support, cybersecurity, access management, and IT processes.
• Ability to build structure, set priorities, and develop practical IT processes in a growing and evolving environment.
• Strong cybersecurity and risk mindset, with the ability to identify and address risks based on business impact.
• A structured approach to IT processes and documentation, ensuring clear ownership and up-to-date information.
• Proven ability to lead and develop an IT team, set clear expectations, and build a proactive and accountable way of working.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain IT risks, needs, and decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including the leadership team.
• A practical, solution-oriented mindset with the confidence to make decisions, take ownership, and solve problems at their root cause.
