Junior Sales / Business Development Executive
Overview

We are seeking a Junior Sales / Business Development Executive to support the growth of B2B partnerships within the fintech sector across Melbourne.

This role is ideal for candidates with 1-3 years of sales or business development experience who are looking to further develop their career in fintech. You will work closely with senior team members to support partner acquisition, relationship management, and revenue growth initiatives.Key Responsibilities
Partner Outreach & Engagement

  • Support the identification and engagement of potential B2B partners through outbound outreach, referrals, and inbound enquiries.

Sales & Business Development Support

  • Assist senior Business Development team members with meetings, follow-ups, proposals, and partnership onboarding activities.

Relationship Management

  • Maintain regular communication with partners and support ongoing relationship management.

Pipeline & CRM Management

  • Update and maintain CRM records, tracking leads, opportunities, and partnership progress.

Market & Competitor Research

  • Conduct market and competitor research to support business development strategies.

Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product, Marketing, Operations, Compliance, and other internal teams to support the execution of partnership initiatives.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related customer-facing role (B2B or B2C).
  • Experience in foreign exchange (FX), international payments, remittance, fintech, banking, or other financial services is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and partners.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Good attention to detail with strong organisational and basic analytical skills.
