Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage monthly close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
• Lead fixed asset accounting activities, including project setup, capital expenditure tracking, asset capitalization, and annual inventory processes
• Support sales and use tax reporting and compliance requirements
• Assist with annual budgeting and operating plan preparation
• Partner with plant leadership, corporate finance teams, and auditors
• Perform financial analysis, reporting, and special projects as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 3+ years of accounting experience within a manufacturing or process manufacturing environment
• Large ERP systems experience required
• Experience with fixed assets, capital projects, and asset capitalization
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization
