UX Designer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Creating and executing original digital design concepts for client digital platforms
• Preparing mock-ups and visual examples to communicate design ideas
• Ensuring all digital materials are consistent with client branding and standards
• Designing and developing user interface layouts and templates for standard and custom websites and forms
• Defining visual elements including typography, iconography, style sheets, colour and information design
• Providing design layout, illustrative, aesthetic and photo art direction to meet stakeholder requirements
• Conceptualising prototypes, wireframes and user experiences based on research and user requirements
• Developing and documenting standards and guidelines for visual branding and web style guides
• Collaborating with developers, designers, content specialists and external suppliers to deliver project outcomes

• Digital Design Excellence – Deliver high-quality, innovative digital design solutions that enhance user experience and aligns with client branding
• User Experience Improvement – Lead initiatives to optimise user journeys and accessibility across digital platforms
• Brand Consistency – Maintain and evolve digital brand guidelines and visual identity standards
• Stakeholder Engagement – Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions
• Process Innovation – Identify and implement improvements in digital design processes and standards

Key Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications or experience in digital design, user interface design, user experience design, visual design or a related discipline

Desirable Skills, Experience or Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in digital design, user interface and user experience for web and digital platforms
• Experience developing and implementing digital branding and style guidelines
• Proven ability to collaborate with diverse internal stakeholders and deliver project outcomes
• Demonstrated ability in strong communication, negotiation and project management skills
• Proven ability to work independently, prioritise work demands and respond to urgent requests
• Proven ability to work effectively within a complex and changing environment, building proactive partnerships with external stakeholders
