Electrical Equipment Engineer Power Plant

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical equipment specifications and technical datasheets.
• Perform electrical design and sizing calculations for power plant and industrial projects.
• Design and review power evacuation systems and electrical distribution networks.
• Conduct technical bid evaluation and vendor offer assessment.
• Review and approve vendor drawings, technical documents, and engineering deliverables.
• Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) for project execution.
• Provide technical support to procurement, quality, construction, and commissioning teams.
• Coordinate with cross-functional engineering disciplines for project execution.
• Ensure compliance with applicable IEC, NEC, and NEMA standards.
• Support troubleshooting and technical issue resolution during project execution and commissioning.
• Review electrical layouts, cable schedules, single-line diagrams, and equipment arrangements.
