Responsibilities

• Implement and operate first prudential regulatory compliance program for banking* (focusing initially on Regulations W and O) including policies, procedures, governance framework, transactional controls and ongoing monitoring activities
• Interface directly with and advise senior management on permissibility / advisability of proposed transactions
• Engage and partner deeply with stakeholders across the organization including Legal, Finance, People/HR, Credit, etc.
• Play a pivotal role in shaping how some of most business critical transactions come together in a safe and sound manner
• Educate and grow compliance culture, awareness of prudential regulatory obligations, and best in-class practices via training and guidance to bank staff regarding prudential regulatory requirements
• Maintain records and documentation on all prudential regulatory compliance activities and programs

You should:

• Have 5-7+ years of experience in building and/or operating prudential compliance programs including Regulations W and O and have a strong understanding of prudential regulations and regulatory expectations
• Be well-versed in representing program outputs and decisions to senior executives, internal auditors, prudential regulators, and other third parties / stakeholders
• Approach your work with a high quality bar and a strong sense of ownership – you see things through to completion and don’t settle
• Bring a collaborative, problem-solving mindset to your work, have strong stakeholder management skills, and an ability to influence without direct authority
• Be excited about using technology, including artificial intelligence, to enhance your capabilities and advance the profession in ways others may never even think of
• *Nice-to-have*: You have prior experience working in quantitative fields including finance, credit, and/or strategic operations
