Job Description
About the Role :
We are looking for a highly skilled AWS Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, cloud-native data integration and API solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in serverless architectures, data engineering, event-driven systems, and enterprise integration patterns.
Key Responsibilities :
– Design and architect scalable data integration solutions using AWS services.
– Lead the development of serverless ETL pipelines using AWS Glue for data ingestion, transformation, and publishing.
– Architect and implement RESTful APIs using AWS Lambda and API Gateway, ensuring best practices around versioning, pagination, security, and performance.
– Design secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using AWS Cognito, OAuth2, and Mutual TLS (mTLS).
– Build event-driven and decoupled architectures leveraging AWS SQS, S3, and related AWS services.
– Design and optimize relational data models using Amazon Aurora (MySQL) and RDS Proxy.
– Establish architecture standards, governance frameworks, and integration best practices.
– Drive monitoring, observability, and operational excellence using CloudWatch, SNS, and incident management processes.
Tech Stack :
– AWS Glue, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, S3, Aurora, RDS, Cognito, CloudWatch, Python, Java.
Preferred Skills :
– Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) platforms, especially Stibo STEP.
– Hands-on experience with AWS CDK or CloudFormation.
– Experience working with supply chain or product master data domains.
– AWS Solution Architect Professional or Associate Certification preferred.
