Business Development Specialist

Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Sales

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across SMEs and corporate clients
• Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company sales and growth targets
• Promote the firm’s services including digital transformation, financial advisory, and fundraising support
• Establish mutually beneficial partnerships, alliances, and collaborations with other businesses or industry stakeholders to expand the company’s reach

2. Client Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients by understanding their evolving needs and providing tailored solutions that exceed their expectations
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach to closing the deal, ensuring a smooth handoff to our operations team

3. Market & Industry Intelligence

• Monitor market trends, competitor positioning, and industry developments
• Identify and enter new markets, designing market entry strategies and assessing opportunities
• Provide insights to management on new service opportunities

4. Fundraising Support

• Work closely with advisory team to identify companies suitable for fundraising
• Act as the bridge for clients seeking capital by positioning our financial advisory services

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Management, or a related field
• 2–4 years in Business Development, ideally within Professional Services, Financial or B2B Services, Banking and Fintech
• Experience selling accounting, advisory, SaaS, or consulting services is an advantage
• Meticulous, detail-oriented, good problem solving and analytical skills
• Fluent in English (Mandarin or Bahasa Malaysia is a significant plus given our diverse client base)
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Self-driven, target-oriented, and results-focused
