Lead Data Scientist

Job Description

Essential Tasks:

• Develop, test and refine detection indicators for fraud, compliance and risk analytics.
• Design, build and validate advanced models including anomaly detection and predictive modelling.
• Translate analytical outputs into operational detection capability with data engineering teams.
• Develop dashboards, summary outputs and analytical products for stakeholder decision-making.

Key Criteria:

• Strong data science capability across statistical analysis, machine learning and advanced analytics.
• Experience with exploratory data analysis, feature engineering and complex datasets.
• Ability to develop, diagnose and troubleshoot specialist analytical models.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including visualisation and reporting.
