Job Description
The role
- Leading this vision, this role is a mix of senior client account leadership and new business growth. You’ll be responsible for the company pipeline end-to-end – prospecting, qualification, pitching, closing. You’ll also hold senior relationships with a small number of strategic accounts and lead a small team focused on the same pursuit.
The role sits at the leadership table alongside fellow peers in operations and technology.
What you’ll do
- Build and work a diversified target account list across key sectors including financial services, healthcare, and other complex sectors where our capability translates
- Run discovery conversations that uncover real problems, not just brief responses
- Lead pitches and proposals, shaping responses with strategy, design, and delivery leads
- Build SGY’s profile through events, content, partnerships, and direct relationships
- Hold senior relationships in a handful of strategic existing accounts and grow them
What we need
- 8+ years in agency-side account leadership, business development, or client partnership
- Demonstrable enterprise-size wins either in project values or equivalent retainers
- Credibility with senior stakeholders – CMOs, GMs of Digital, Heads of Member or Customer Experience, Chief Digital Officers
- Strong commercial instincts – you can scope, price, and read a P&L
- Comfort with the substance of digital work without needing to code
- Industry experience or existing networks in any of our target sectors are a significant advantage
- Direct, low-ego, no-nonsense – we don’t do performative agency culture
