General Manager

Job Description

Key responsibilities include but not limited to;

• Lead the transformation of Group Finance and FP&A into a modern, efficient and value-adding function.
• Drive automation across reporting, forecasting, planning and consolidation processes.
• Leverage technology, data analytics and AI to enhance insight, efficiency and decision-making.
• Strengthen governance, controls and financial processes across the Group.
• Lead Group budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning and performance reporting.
• Deliver commercial insights and recommendations to executive leaders and directors.
• Develop scenario modelling to support investment, acquisition, divestment and capital allocation decisions.
• Oversee Group consolidation, statutory reporting and external audit requirements.
• Provide technical accounting leadership and support financial governance, including sustainability and climate reporting.
• Lead, develop and build capability across finance teams in Australia and Malaysia.

YOUR BACKGROUND

• CA, CPA or equivalent qualification.
• 10+ years post-qualified experience.
• Exposure to real estate, hospitality, investment or asset-intensive industries will be highly regarded
• Experience leading large finance teams and developing future leaders.
• Demonstrated success delivering finance transformation, automation and systems improvement initiatives.
• Deep FP&A capability including forecasting, planning, modelling and capital allocation.
• Strong experience in group consolidation, statutory reporting and financial governance.
• Experience leveraging data, analytics and emerging AI capabilities within finance.
• Multi-jurisdiction or international finance experience.
