Job Description
This is a hands-on mid-level role suited to someone who combines strong artistic fundamentals with practical production experience and enjoys collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality 3D concepts, models, textures, and production-ready assets.
- Create characters, environments, props, and set pieces aligned with artistic direction.
- Support Unreal Engine 5 production pipelines through asset finishing and scene dressing.
- Produce visual exploration, mood boards, and concept artwork where required.
- Collaborate with Character, Environment, Technical Art, and Development teams.
- Participate in reviews, feedback cycles, and production handoffs.
- Manage assigned tasks and communicate progress effectively.
About You
You’ll bring:
- 3–5 years’ professional experience in games, animation, real-time entertainment, or related industries.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating 3D modelling, texturing, and concept development.
- Proficiency with Blender, Maya, ZBrush, or equivalent tools.
- Advanced proficiency in Blender is required for this position.
- Experience with Substance Painter, Photoshop, and digital art workflows.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently while responding effectively to creative feedback.
- Valid Australian work visa or eligible work rights are required.
Highly Regarded
- Unreal Engine 5 experience.
- Exposure to iGaming, gaming, or interactive entertainment projects.
- Experience creating marketing visuals or key art.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted creative workflows.
