Job Description

Java Technical Lead required for a contracting role on a large government project in central Dublin. You’ll work in a large technical environment on a large enterprise scale development programme that’s going through a wider transformational change program of work.

Your role will involve understanding existing systems and requriements and working with a wider architecture team to help define and document these into archtiecture plans. There will be a hands on element to this as well, both understanding legacy systems and working on a prototype for a new system being worked on.

Desired Skills / Experience

  • 10+ years Java development experience
  • Strong experience building large Spring Boot based applications and microservices
  • Tech leadership experience both from an architecture and technical oversight point of view
  • Experience in large migration projects is desired
  • Ideally experience in building cloud native tech using the likes of Kubernetes / Docker etc. is desired
  • Advocate for using best practices across QA and devops.
