Your new role

As a Technical Business Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the design and delivery of digital services within a complex, highly regulated environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across service design, engineering, and delivery to support discovery, define requirements, and ensure seamless integration across multiple systems.

This role will see you bridging the gap between business needs and technical delivery, with a strong focus on APIs, mobile services, and system integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support discovery and service design activities, including user journey mapping and requirements definition
• Elicit, analyse, and document business and technical requirements across complex systems
• Work closely with engineering teams to support mobile application and API development (including Fire Mobile API services)
• Define and document integration requirements across internal and external platforms
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with Medicare and partner system integrations
• Produce high-quality artefacts including user stories, process maps, and technical documentation
• Facilitate workshops and support prioritisation of requirements across multiple stakeholders
• Assist in solution validation, UAT, and delivery activities

What you’ll need to succeed

• Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst in complex delivery environments
• Strong experience in service design and discovery phases
• Experience supporting mobile application and API-led development
• Understanding of system integration patterns and enterprise architecture
• Experience working with or integrating into Medicare or similar government/partner systems
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
