Senior UX/UI Design

Job Description

This role will lead the end-to-end UX design process, from customer discovery and workflow definition through to the delivery of design artefacts ready for developer handoff. The successful consultant will help transform complex information and business processes into intuitive, elegant user experiences.

Your primary objective will be to design workflows and interfaces that cater to three distinct user groups:

• Power Users and Analysts requiring detailed information, advanced functionality, and efficient workflows
• Business Users needing simple, intuitive experiences that support everyday tasks and decision-making
• Executive Stakeholders requiring polished, visually engaging dashboards and reporting views for presentations and strategic discussions

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct customer interviews and discovery sessions across multiple user groups to understand user needs, workflows, and pain points
• Understand how grid-edge data is best presented to end users
• Analyse existing processes and identify opportunities to improve usability, efficiency, and overall user experience
• Translate customer feedback, business requirements, and operational challenges into actionable UX and product requirements
• Develop information architecture and navigation structures that balance functionality with simplicity
• Design premium, modern, and high-fidelity user interfaces for complex, data-rich applications and dashboards
• Build interactive prototypes and visual concepts for a range of user audiences
• Deliver comprehensive, developer-ready design artefacts to support smooth implementation and handoff
• Collaborate with backend and API engineering teams to ensure designs are technically feasible and aligned with data models

About You

You are a Senior UX/UI Design Consultant with:

• Proven experience quickly adapting to complex business domains and enterprise environments
• A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional UI design for sophisticated digital platforms, applications, and dashboards
• Strong stakeholder engagement and customer-facing communication skills, including facilitating workshops and interviews
• The ability to translate complex business requirements into intuitive, user-centred experiences
• Strong technical understanding of frontend systems, APIs, backend services and technical constraints
• The ability to work autonomously and deliver outcomes within a fast-paced consulting environment
