Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a team of graphic designers and strengthening workflow processes to support production schedules.
- Supporting graphic designers in overseeing production workflow across supported employees.
- Contributing to business action plans focused on the ongoing growth and improvement of Blend Creative.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Identifying, assessing and communicating relevant business information and opportunities to management.
- Developing and maintaining strong supplier relationships to support business outcomes.
About You – The Ideal Candidate:
As a highly creative design professional with a strong understanding of current and emerging industry trends, you will bring an established professional network and a collaborative leadership style.
Ideally, you will have:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in graphic design and creative production with leadership experience.
- Experience in production scheduling, quoting, invoicing, supplier negotiation, and contributing to the success of a design studio.
- Demonstrated success in developing strategies that improve workflow efficiency and production management.
- A genuine passion for working within an Australian Disability Enterprise that creates real opportunities for people with disability.
Desirable:
- A degree in visual design or related discipline
- Web development and / or website conceptual design skills, with experience in building and managing WordPress websites.
- Experience creating accessible documents in Adobe InDesign and Adobe Acrobat
- Proficiency in using AI tools to support and enhance design, ideation, and production
