Data Engineer – ETL/SQL

Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

– Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows.

– Write optimized and complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.

– Work with structured and semi-structured data from multiple sources.

– Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems.

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver data solutions.

– Monitor and troubleshoot data jobs and resolve issues proactively.

– Participate in performance tuning and optimization of databases and ETL processes.

– Learn and work on Talend-based integrations and data migration activities as required by the project.

Required Skills :

– 2+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.

– Strong proficiency in SQL with experience in writing complex queries, joins, stored procedures, and performance optimization.

– Understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousing fundamentals.

– Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.

– Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

– Strong communication skills.
