Data Architect

Job Description

Your New Role:

As a Data Architect, you will be a key technical contributor responsible for designing and managing enterprise-level data architecture.

Develop and maintain data architecture frameworks aligned to business and technology strategies

Lead data migration activities from legacy systems to modern platforms

Design logical and physical data models to optimise structure, relationships, and flow

Establish robust data integration frameworks ensuring seamless system connectivity

Implement strong data governance, quality, and security practices

Provide expert guidance on data architecture, modelling, and migration best practices

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical designs

Recommend modern tools, platforms, and technologies to enhance data capabilities

Maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, transformation logic, and integration points.

What you will need to succeed:

Proven experience in data architecture and enterprise-level data migration projects

Strong expertise in data modelling, ETL processes, and database management

Solid understanding of data governance, quality standards, and security frameworks

Hands-on experience with Azure data services (including data integration and landing zones)

Ability to manage complex data environments with high attention to detail and data accuracy

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Ideally, relevant certifications such as Azure Data Engineer or Data Management credentials

Exposure to SAP solutions and Agile methodologies (highly desirable)
