About the Role :

Join the JLL Smart Building Platform team as a Senior DevOps Engineer, where you’ll architect, automate, and secure cloud infrastructure supporting our IoT, data, and emerging AI agent solutions. Youll drive infrastructure as code, CI/CD, cost optimization, automation, and security best practices, while mentoring and elevating the team’s capabilities.

Responsibilities :

– Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, EKS, Lambda, AWS Batch, IoT Core, Aurora, S3, Kafka), with some support for Azure-based legacy or frontend resources.

– Build scalable, secure environments for agentic AI and multi-agent workloads on AWS/Azure Cloud, supporting new intelligent automation development.

– Develop and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform and Terraform Cloud.

– Design and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, JFrog, and Octopus.

– Support and optimize data pipelines and microservices, including NiFi on Kubernetes.

– Lead and support automation initiatives to improve team efficiency, resolve bottlenecks, and elevate product quality.

– Monitor and optimize cloud usage and costs, recommending improvements for efficiency and budget effectiveness.

– Identify and remediate vulnerabilities and champion a security-first DevOps culture.

– Create and maintain architectural documentation; take ownership of or lead documentation for relevant systems/infrastructure.

– Guide and mentor team members on cloud, security, automation, and operational best practices.

Requirements :

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

– 6+ years in DevOps, Cloud, or Site Reliability Engineering in a high-scale high-complexity environment.

– Advanced AWS experience (EKS, EC2, Lambda, AWS Batch, Aurora, S3, Kafka); Azure experience is a plus.

– Proficiency with Terraform and Terraform Cloud.

– Strong experience automating CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).

– Solid Kubernetes expertise (preferably EKS).

– Scripting skills with Python or similar language.

– Experience supporting agentic AI or multi-agent systems in cloud environments is a strong plus.

– Experience with NiFi, microservices, and data pipeline orchestration is a strong plus.

– Proven experience with cost monitoring/optimization in cloud.

– Security-aware with a hands-on approach to detection and mitigation of vulnerabilities.

– Strong skills in architecture documentation and leading design discussions.

– Track record of driving automation for operational and product quality improvement.

– Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
