DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

– Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, and Git-based workflows.

– Manage application deployments across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.

– Handle Docker and Kubernetes-based deployments for microservices architecture.

– Manage Linux and Windows servers, deployment configurations, and release activities.

– Implement deployment automation, monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.

– Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, and production-related issues.

– Collaborate with Development and QA teams for build and release management.

– Ensure deployment security, backup management, and operational best practices.

– Manage cloud and on-premise infrastructure environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

– Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.

– 3-5 years of experience in DevOps or Release Engineering.

– Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitLab, Git, and CI/CD automation.

– Good knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices deployment architecture.

– Strong administration knowledge of Linux and Windows servers.

– Experience with shell scripting, PowerShell, or automation scripting.

– Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

– Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Stack, or Loki.

– Understanding of deployment security and DevSecOps practices.

– Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

– Experience handling enterprise production deployments.
