EL2 Enterprise Architect 

Job Description

Your new role

As the Enterprise Architect, you will provide hands‑on architectural guidance across digital products, platforms, data, integration, cloud and infrastructure. You will work closely with delivery teams, solution architects, vendors and senior business stakeholders to assess solution options, identify cross‑system impacts and guide design decisions aligned with enterprise direction and business priorities.

You will also contribute to enterprise architecture governance by developing and maintaining key artefacts, patterns and standards that support consistent, defensible decision‑making and alignment with cybersecurity requirements. This role provides immediate additional capacity during a period of accelerated delivery and high strategic demand.

What you’ll need to succeed

You will bring:

• Senior‑level Enterprise Architect experience within complex organisations
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions
• Experience working within APS procurement processes (Digital Marketplace or similar)
• Ability to understand enterprise architecture concepts and map business/technical capabilities
• Experience providing architectural advice across applications, integration, data, cloud and infrastructure
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to senior stakeholders

Desirable:

• Experience with ERP systems or ERP‑related programs
• Experience contributing to technology or investment roadmaps
• Experience supporting architecture governance, assurance or design review activities
