Job Description
The IT Senior Engineering Manager leads products to build experiences for Owners working with interactions and integrations across the enterprise. This is a global responsibility, providing the IT point of view on the proposed business requirements to integrate into the existing product portfolios. You will need to understand architecture, technology, and implementation strategies to optimize the experience and the efficiencies across the enterprise. In addition, you will be hands on in this leadership role, working with the team and Product Owner and stakeholders this is not just a role of pure delegation. You will analyze impact of change on KPIs and interactions with the customer to further provide Business Value.
Responsibilities :
– Global initiative leveraging enterprise solutions across M&S, FCSD, GDIA, Enterprise Connectivity
– Budgetary responsibility around $2M.
– Drive delivery via the Product Driven Organization and be a servant leader to enable the product team to run at speed, clearing blockers, enabling the team and leading overall strategy.
– Simplify Everything and Modernize Everywhere a keen eye and willingness to challenge the norm to do what is right for the company moving forward, not just looking at the past.
– Deliver solid web experiences that are secure and with quality, while approaching with a thin slicing/MVP mindset.
– Deliver value at a fast pace and regularly.
– Integrating new experiences with Own, CX (Customer Experience) , Model E and Mobile app to make for a seamless customer experience channel the voice of the customer into everything we do.
– Manage health of product including code craftsmanship, cross organization business relationships, security & controls, governance, privacy, sourcing, scope and protecting the enterprise.
– Be a tech leader! Think different, look to the enterprise landscape of technology and make sure Ford leads in customer value. Practice and encourage Clean Code.
– Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across many different geos, orgs, and diverse personalities. Understanding sourcing models and impact of change
– Ability to be a tech leader, using tech acumen to drive teams, not a leader of tech teams.
– Ability to think different, think creative and find how can we vs. why we cant.
– Exceptional communication and relationship building skills to work with product owner.
– Excellent networking skills and relationship building skills.
– Proven ability to ‘own working together’ with global IT team

Qualifications :
– Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field or a combination of education and equivalent work experience
– 5 + years of experience of IT development, preferably with front-end technologies (NextJS, REACT, Angular or similar)
– 3 + years in a leadership role on an Agile software development team.
– 1 + years of experience with Micro-front-end technology and AEM Cloud as a tech leader
– 1 + years of experience with DORA / DevLake / SRE / Dynatrace & Lighthouse performance standards
