Python SQL Developer 

Job Description

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications and scripts
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects
• Support data integration and ETL processes across multiple systems
• Analyze business and technical requirements to deliver scalable solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, and clients
• Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
• Document technical designs, processes, and code artifacts in accordance with CGI standards
  

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

At least 0–2 years of experience with Python development (academic or internship experience acceptable)

Basic understanding of SQL and relational database concepts (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL)

Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and software development fundamentals

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Education: B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience
