Job Description

Role Purpose

The Data Analyst will support the Wealth Management team by leveraging data to provide insights into client portfolios, investment performance, and market trends. The role involves analyzing large datasets, building dashboards, and delivering actionable intelligence to advisors and senior management to enhance client outcomes and business efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze financial and client data from multiple sources
• Develop dashboards and reports to track portfolio performance, asset allocation, and risk metrics
• Provide insights into client behavior, investment trends, and product performance
• Support advisors with data-driven recommendations for client portfolios
• Collaborate with investment teams to evaluate new products and strategies
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in data handling and reporting
• Automate recurring reporting processes to improve efficiency
• Present findings to stakeholders in clear, concise formats (visualizations, presentations, reports)
  

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
• Knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and portfolio management concepts
• Experience with Python/R for statistical analysis and data modeling
• Ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate insights effectively
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in wealth management (e.g., KYC, AML, SEBI/SEC guidelines)
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field
• 2-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within financial services or wealth management
• Professional certifications (CFA, FRM, or Data Analytics certifications) are a plus
