Data Engineer

Job Description

We’re supporting a remote-first SaaS company building tools used by thousands of teams globally. With strong traction and a growing user base, they’re now hiring a Data Engineer to help shape and scale their data stack.

You’ll work in a small cross-functional team and collaborate closely with analytics, product, and backend engineers.

What You’ll Work On

• Build robust data pipelines using tools like dbt, Airflow, and BigQuery
• Maintain and evolve the data warehouse for analytics and product use
• Ensure data reliability, consistency, and observability across systems
• Partner with Analytics and Product teams to deliver clean, trusted data
• Contribute to internal data platform development and best practices

First 3–6 Months – Focus Areas

• Audit and improve existing data models and ETL pipelines
• Help integrate new data sources from product and external APIs
• Collaborate on setting up a self-serve analytics infrastructure
• Contribute to data governance and documentation

What They’re Looking For

• 2–5 years experience as Data Engineer or similar
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with cloud data warehouses
• Experience with modern data tooling (e.g., dbt, Airbyte/Fivetran, etc.)
• Comfortable writing production-grade Python for data workflows
• Team-first mindset and great communication in remote setups
