Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive specialist to uphold the operational integrity of a high-availability facility. This role is centered on hands-on implementation and issue resolution within a zero-downtime setting. You will be instrumental in managing the physical asset layer, ensuring procedural adherence, and facilitating seamless project delivery through diligent task management and cross-functional teamwork.

Infrastructure Life-cycle:

• Engage in the complete life-cycle of production hardware, from physical setup and ongoing maintenance to performance optimisation and eventual decommissioning.
• Address equipment failures through component-level restoration and detailed fault diagnosis, performed against strict service delivery timelines.
• Execute the installation, removal, and troubleshooting of physical assets and their associated connectivity.
• Contribute to building out the physical compute and network fabric; systematic connectivity installation is a core function of this position.
• Participate in the strategic planning and activation of new equipment enclosures and contribute to the layout of new operational spaces.

Operational Workflow:

• Operate within a structured workflow assignment system, strictly following established protocols and structured change guidelines.
• Manage a queue of assigned tasks, clearing roadblocks and addressing escalations to maintain the smooth flow of operational activities.
• Utilise designated systems for accurate and consistent internal activity logging.
