Job Description

 
The Level 1 – Service Desk Technician is responsible for provisioning PCs and provides 1st Level PC, network and server support to our external clients.

In order to succeed, you will need to possess good people skills; the ability to build strong relationships with clients and fellow team members.

You will be someone who is passionate about providing superior customer service where your excellent communication skills and positive attitude is put to the test.

Having good time management skills is essential as you need to be able to prioritise workloads.

You will exhibit a high level of initiative, be able to think “outside the box” and have a commitment to achieving quality results.

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • General interest in IT
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Microsoft range of operating systems.
  • Basic network troubleshooting skills.
  • TAFE Certificate or MCSA or equivalent
  • Knowledge of peripherals and computer hardware.

 
Advantageous but not required skills:

  • Ability to build and configure a Desktop PC from the ground up.
  • The ability to record and log all calls, contributing to the IT Documentation and continual improvement of procedures.
