Job Description

Responsibilities
• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites using industry best practices.
• Build responsive, mobile-friendly websites from Figma, Adobe XD, or other design files.
• Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
• Develop reusable templates and website components.
• Integrate third-party plugins, REST APIs, CRM tools, payment gateways, forms, and analytics platforms.
• Optimize websites for speed, Core Web Vitals, SEO, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Troubleshoot website issues, plugin conflicts, security vulnerabilities, and performance bottlenecks.
• Perform regular website maintenance, backups, updates, and security enhancements.
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, content creators, digital marketers, and project managers.
• Maintain clean, well-documented, and reusable code following WordPress coding standards.
• Stay updated with the latest WordPress releases, plugins, web technologies, and security best practices.

Required Skills
• 1-2 years of professional experience in WordPress development.
• Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS, themes, plugins, and customization.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and PHP.
• Experience with Elementor, or other popular page builders.
• Understanding of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
• Experience working with cPanel, hosting environments, DNS, SSL certificates, and website migrations.
• Knowledge of responsive web design principles.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Basic understanding of technical SEO, website security, and performance optimization.
• Experience using browser developer tools for debugging.

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma.
• Basic knowledge of AI-assisted development tools is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Search Console is a plus.
