We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Webmaster to manage, maintain, and enhance our organization’s website. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, an eye for design, and the ability to ensure a smooth and optimal web experience for visitors. This role requires a proactive, adaptable individual with hands-on experience in web development, user interface design, and digital security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and update website content, ensuring it is accurate, relevant, and aligned with company standards.
  • Monitor website performance, diagnose issues, and ensure site uptime.
  • Optimize websites for speed and SEO (Search Engine Optimization).
  • Implement user-centric web design and navigation improvements based on analytics and user feedback.
  • Oversee integration of website with other internal and external platforms, ensuring seamless functionality.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement new features, campaigns, and multimedia elements.
  • Work closely with the IT team to ensure website security, including regular audits and updates.
  • Ensure compatibility and responsiveness across various devices and browsers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to site functionality, content display, and user interaction.
  • Maintain and back up website data and server information regularly.
  • Track and report on website analytics, user behavior, and performance metrics.
  • Assist with the development of custom web applications or features as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Webmaster or in a similar web development role.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Experience with web development frameworks and content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO best practices and tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, etc.).
  • Familiarity with responsive web design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Strong knowledge of web hosting platforms, server management, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with web security practices and the ability to implement security protocols.
  • Proficiency with version control systems (Git).
  • Understanding of user experience (UX) principles and the ability to apply them to web design.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and tools (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce).
  • Experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar).
  • Basic knowledge of design tools like Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch.
  • Knowledge of API integrations and web services.
