About the role

The Web/Product Designer will play a key role in the design process of all new products and enhancements and work closely with the product design lead and wider product team on the execution of product initiatives and play an instrumental role in shaping the user experience.

The Web/Product Designer role is based in Brisbane and will report directly into the Principal Product Designer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set design requirements based on briefs from internal teams.
  • Work closely with the Product Managers to identify opportunities for new products.
  • Work closely with business, data and technology stakeholders to understand and identify business and CX issues to feed into solutions to help drive leads/growth and revenue.
  • Ability to work in an agile delivery team, translating UX strategy and concepts into meaningful and deliverable products.
  • Collaborative design approach, incorporating feedback from a variety of stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to ensure design quality, including translating designs into deliverable product initiatives.
  • Ability to quickly Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups to illustrate user interface concepts.
  • Use A/B testing, analytics, user feedback and market research to inform user experience and user interface design.

Education, Experience & Skills

  • 4+ years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing recent design work, including thought process.
  • Experience working on digital products.
  • Extensive experience working on large-scale consumer-facing websites.
  • Competency in Figma for wireframing, prototyping and high fidelity designs.
  • Understanding of UX research methods, and ability to choose and conduct research based on the initiative budget and needs.
  • Experience working in the Automotive industry preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prepared to work full-time from the office.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
