Job Description

We are looking for a Web Engineer to join our dynamic and collaborative development team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating seamless, interactive web experiences. You’ll work closely with designers, developers, and product managers to craft innovative and highly scalable web applications. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain highly interactive, performant web applications using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Implement responsive designs and optimize for different screen sizes and devices.
  • Work closely with the backend team to integrate APIs and improve the overall web performance.
  • Ensure code quality by writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
  • Troubleshoot and debug web applications, ensuring they are running smoothly across all browsers.
  • Stay up to date with the latest web trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with designers to implement high-quality user interfaces.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and improve system design.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a web developer or web engineer with a strong portfolio of web applications.
  • Proficient in modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular).
  • Experience with CSS preprocessors like Sass or LESS.
  • Familiarity with frontend build tools like Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt.
  • Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, promises, and APIs (RESTful services, GraphQL).
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
  • Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to handle them.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Git workflows.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with TypeScript or similar superset languages.
  • Knowledge of server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation.
  • Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Vuex).
  • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha).
  • Exposure to containerization technologies like Docker.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
