Web Developer Intern

Job Description

ABOUT POSITION:

• We’re looking for a Web Developer Intern.
• Our host company offers meaningful work experience, strong supervision, supportive work environment, and is planning to offer permanent employment for the suitable candidate.

ABOUT YOU:
You must:

• be studying a relevant degree qualification or a recent graduate.
• have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
• have the necessary technical and soft skills to perform the job.
• be committed to a career in your field of study.
• be able to work at least 3 days per week.

 
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
You could be provided work experience in the following areas:

• Writing efficient code
• Creating websites and software using standard HTML/CSS practices
• Working closely with web designers and programmers to produce the website
• Constant communication with other colleagues in the business to develop and deploy their content – and ensuring there is a clear establishment of what can be created within what timeframe
• Researching different software programs, maintaining software documentation
• Implementing contingency plans in case the website goes down
• Maintaining and expanding/enhancing the website/software once built
